A new one-woman opera by composer Kevin Bleau and librettist David Schrag, based on the works of the tenth-century playwright Hrotsvitha of Gandersheim and featuring soprano Jennifer Litwin with pianist Kevin Bleau. Performance followed by a discussion with the performers and creative team, moderated by Dr. Philip Liston-Kraft (Harvard University), and a reception in the 485 Broadway lobby. Co-sponsored by the Committee on Medieval Studies, the Division of Arts & Humanities, the Department of Theater, Dance and Media, and the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures. Free and open to the public, but seating is limited and first-come, first served.
