DESCRIPTION:<p>A <a href="https://strongvoiceroswitha.com/">new one-woman opera</a> by composer <a href="https://college.berklee.edu/people/kevin-bleau">Kevin Bleau</a> and librettist <a href="https://newplayexchange.org/users/21420/david-schrag">David Schrag</a>, based on the works of the tenth-century playwright Hrotsvitha of Gandersheim and featuring soprano Jennifer Litwin with pianist Kevin Bleau. Performance followed by a discussion with the performers and creative team, moderated by <a href="https://philiplistonkraft.academia.edu/">Dr. Philip Liston-Kraft</a> (Harvard University), and a reception in the 485 Broadway lobby. Co-sponsored by the Committee on Medieval Studies, the Division of Arts &amp; Humanities, the Department of Theater, Dance and Media, and the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures. Free and open to the public, but seating is limited and first-come, first served.</p>
