Jordan is a first year PhD student in Romance Languages and Literatures. He is from Texas and thoroughly enjoys anything medieval, from Chaucer to Braulio to Juan Ruiz. In particular, he focuses on the textual interplay between medieval Iberian legal texts and narrative literature of the same peninsula. 

Academic Interests: 12-14th century interplay between Iberian legal texts and literature, philosophy of language, exemplary tales, and miracle story traditions.
