Fernanda García is a doctoral candidate in the Committee on the Study of Religion (Literature Studies and the Arts subfield). She holds an MTS from Harvard Divinity School (2022) and a BA from The New School (2019). Her dissertation focuses on medieval visionary and mystical writing and contemporary literature with attention towards fictionality and composition. She is also interested in representations of medieval religious life in modern media. Fernanda is currently the graduate student co-coordinator for the English medieval colloquium and program assistant for Medieval Studies.
