Claire Adams is a special assistant to the Committee on Medieval Studies, managing logistical and financial planning for the 2025 Medieval Academy of American annual meeting on the Harvard campus, and the Department of History's Catalog and Curriculum Coordinator. She holds a Ph.D. in History from Harvard University with a secondary field in Archaeology, specializing in medieval northwestern Europe, monasticism, and craft production and specialization. She has participated in archaeological field work and excavation in Spain, England, Ireland, Italy, and Sweden, including ongoing excavations at Reccopolis in Spain and the monastery of Little Carlton in England.
