Edan Larkin is a History PhD student interested in ancient and medieval microhistories that seek to humanize people otherwise lost to history. Her scholarly interests intersect disciplines including history, classics, archaeology, and epidemiology. In particular, she studies the cults of saints, community responses to tragic events and natural disasters, and paleopathology.
