A past president of the International Medieval Sermon Studies Society, Beverly Mayne Kienzle is an affiliate member of the Committee on Medieval Studies. She is a scholar of medieval homiletics, sermon literature, and manuscript studies, and the translator of works by Hildegard of Bingen and Bernard of Clairvaux. Among her publications are Cistercians, Heresy, and Crusade in Occitania, 1145-1229 (York Medieval Press, 2001), Hildegard of Bingen and Her Gospel Homilies (Brepols, 2009), and (with Carolyn Muessig and George Ferzoco) A Companion to Catherine of Siena (Brill, 2011).
