Three members of Harvard's Medieval Studies community have been honored as 2020 Walter Channing Cabot Fellows in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences:
William Granara, Professor of the Practice of Arabic in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations;
Dimiter Angelov, Dumbarton Oaks Professor of Byzantine History; and
James Simpson, Donald P. and Katherine B. Loker Professor of English. The Cabot Fellowships are awarded annually to a small number of faculty for outstanding scholarly work "in the fields of literature, history, or art, or as such terms may be liberally interpreted."
