Virginie Greene's research encompasses the literary history of the French Middle Ages, medieval romance, the history of individuality and subjectivity in the Middle Ages, and French medievalism. She is the author of Logical Fictions in Medieval Literature and Philosophy (Cambridge University Press, 2015), Le débat sur le Roman de la rose (Champion, 2006), and Le sujet et la mort dans La mort Artu (Librarie Nizet, 2002), and editor of The Medieval Author in Medieval French Literature (Palgrave Macmillan, 2006).
