Claire Adams is a graduate student interested in early medieval history, early medieval archaeology, archaeoscientific approaches to history (isotope analysis, radiocarbon dating, aDNA analysis, residue analysis etc.), osteology, GIS, medieval monasticism, medieval trade, and medieval agriculture. Her tentative dissertation title is "Monastic Labor: Monastic Conceptions and Practices of Labor, Work, and Industry in the West, 400-1000."
