Nicole Pulichene is a doctoral student whose research addresses the reuse and stylistic influence of late antique ivories on early medieval manuscripts and material culture, the use and signification of writing tablets in late antiquity and the Middle Ages, monastic memoria, and touch and tactility in Christocentric devotion.
