Jake Ransohoff

Jake Ransohoff is a doctoral candidate whose research focuses on the politics of physical mutilation in the Byzantine world, the history of the Slavic Balkans in the later Middle Ages, and the development of Byzantine studies in early modern Europe. He currently is writing a dissertation on "Political Blinding in Byzantium and the Medieval West."
