A past president of the International Medieval Sermon Studies Society, Beverly Mayne Kienzle is an affiliate member of the Committee on Medieval Studies. She is a scholar of medieval homiletics, sermon literature, and manuscript studies, and the translator of works by Hildegard of Bingen and Bernard of Clairvaux. Among her publications are *Cistercians, Heresy, and Crusade in Occitania, 1145-1229* (York Medieval Press, 2001), *Hildegard of Bingen and Her Gospel Homilies* (Brepols, 2009), and (with Carolyn Muessig and George Ferzoco) *A Companion to Catherine of Siena* (Brill, 2011).
