 

#  Harvard Medievalists honored as 2020 Cabot Fellows

Three members of Harvard's Medieval Studies community have been honored as 2020 Walter Channing Cabot Fellows in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences: [William Granara](https://nelc.fas.harvard.edu/people/william-granara), Professor of the Practice of Arabic in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations; [Dimiter Angelov](https://history.fas.harvard.edu/people/dimiter-angelov), Dumbarton Oaks Professor of Byzantine History; and [James Simpson](https://scholar.harvard.edu/jamessimpson/home), Donald P. and Katherine B. Loker Professor of English. The Cabot Fellowships are awarded annually to a small number of faculty for outstanding scholarly work "in the fields of literature, history, or art, or as such terms may be liberally interpreted."
