A workshop on the techniques and technology of medieval metalworking, led by Francesca Bewer (Research Curator for Conservation and Technical Studies, Harvard Art Museums), Ittai Weinryb (Assistant Professor of Art History, Bard Graduate Center), and Katherine Eremin (Patricia Cornwell Senior Conservation Scientist, Harvard Art Museums). This workshop is part of the 2017 Harvard Medieval Material Cultures program *Breaking the Mold: Metal as Material, Medium and Message in the Middle Ages.* Space in the workshop is limited; to reserve a place, please email <medieval@fas.harvard.edu> with "afternoon workshop" in the subject line.
