Jack Tannous (Princeton University), An Early Arabic New Testament Translation. A workshop for students focusing on several early Arabic translations of the New Testament, including Sinai Arabic 73, Sinai Arabic 151, and Vatican Arabic 13, with special focus on Sinai Arabic New Finds MG 2, a bilingual Greek-Arabic manuscript of the letters of Paul. A short group of preassigned readings will be circulated at least one week prior to the workshop. Participants are expected to complete the readings before the workshop.
