Featuring a [keynote lecture](/event/harvard-medieval-material-culture-lecture-2) by [Martin Carver](https://www.york.ac.uk/archaeology/staff/academic-staff/martin-carver/) (University of York) on Tuesday, 2 April, a [student seminar](/event/harvard-medieval-material-culture-student-workshop) with Dr. Carver on Wednesday, 3 April, and two hands-on workshops led by [Eurydice Georganteli](https://haa.fas.harvard.edu/people/eurydice-georganteli) (Harvard University) on Thursday, 4 April: *[The View from the Trenches: Sardis and the Practice of Medieval Archaeology](/event/harvard-medieval-material-culture-workshop-1)* (10 am to 12 pm) and *[The View from the Benches? Museum Collections and Medieval Archaeology](/event/harvard-medieval-material-culture-workshop-2)* (2 pm to 4 pm).
